We invite you to join an upcoming Psychiatry Advocacy Training hosted by the Area 4 Council on April 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM Central Time. The session will be dedicated to interactive skits and breakout discussions focused on patient-level advocacy, state advocacy, and federal advocacy.
Participants will gain hands-on experience navigating real-world advocacy scenarios, drafting and advancing ideas, and understanding how trainees can meaningfully engage within organized psychiatry. This event is open to APA members at all career levels. Whether you are new to advocacy or looking to deepen your involvement, this session will provide practical tools and opportunities to connect with fellow psychiatrists who share an interest in advocacy.
