Dr. Ryan Emhoff is a PGY-II in the Medical College of Wisconsin’s psychiatry residency program at the Milwaukee campus. He serves as one of his program’s WPA representatives and is also on the Legislative and Emergency Psychiatry committees. Some of his major focuses within the WPA include physician and medical trainee mental health, emergency psychiatry, inclusive care, and mental healthcare access among other projects. He is a recipient of the “Above and Beyond” award from his residency’s psychiatry department for his work in recruitment. His interests in psychiatry include psychedelic-assisted therapy, mindfulness and meditation, physician mental health, psychotherapy, and advanced trauma-focused modalities. Dr. Emhoff attended medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and obtained a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California
