Learn how to better serve adolescents… from THEIR perspective! The PATCH for Providers Workshop is a one-of-a-kind experience offering health care professionals the opportunity to

engage with today’s youth in a new way. Learn directly from trained PATCH Teen Educators about their wants, needs, preferences, and insights into the health care experiences of today’s youth.

Following the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the concerns, preferences, and realities of young people in health care settings.
  • Value diversity among teens and recognize the challenges and opportunities this poses in health care settings.
  • Explain ways to provide high-quality, youth friendly health care services.
  • Develop confidence and skills to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with teens.
  • Advocate for and effectively communicate about appropriate youth-friendly health care services among the health care team.
